Rubber stamping fat pages swap

These pages are for a swap on Lots to do, all based around using rubber stamps.
This page was very simple. I spritzer the page with my made up Glimmer mist of Fired brick reinker ink & sparkle perfect pearls, then used Tim's stamps, finished off with Rangers gold pen around the edges.

This one took a bit more time! I firstly used domino shape stampbord, inked up with different distress inks, stamped the image in the middle with archival black ink, then brushed over with perfect pearls & finally round the edges with rangers gold pen.
I used a CI corner stamp in walnut stain & a Cats life press "friends" stamp with versamark & perfect pearls.
The effects of the perfect pearls look much better in the flesh.

My friends work.

I have finally got round to putting up a big notice board in my office to display all the lovley work I have received in swaps & rak's from all my forum buddies.

I hope you can see your piece of art on my board.

9x9 Swap

This is for a swap hosted on Lots to Do Forum, the theme being Tim Holtz stlye.
I really had no idea where & how to start, so I printed off a load of images, travel being the main ones. I then inked up the card, then stamped lots of postage images, by CI, then cut out all the postcard images, distressed them using inks & Tim's paper distresser, then mounted them all onto the card. I then cut out loads of stamp images & mounted them on there too. This is the picture uncut into atc sizes.

And this is the cut version. Once I had cut them all out, I then used the paper distresser again & inked all the edges & it looks compleatly different cut up. I'm really pleased with the way it has turned out!

Week 2 Lots to do Challenge

This is my gothic arch for this weeks challenge, set by Ang, "A matter of Time" theme.
I used distress inks on the arch, then an acetate CI image at the top & the man image & the clock image is one by Tim Holtz , then added "time waits for no man"
This is a very simple thing really, an altered cd, again, with a Tim Hiltz image, thus being "time flys"

Chloe latest Picture

This is the latest picture I took of Chloe, she has a nasty tummy bug at the mo, but she's still happy!

Things with wings

On this arch, I used peel offs, then used various chalks over them & removed the peel offs to leave the stencil outline. Finally I spritzed with walnut gold glimmer mist.
On this, I used the same stamp with holographic embossing powder, then cut out the butterflys from CI papers, curled the wings & 3d foamed them.

With this arch, I used versamark ink pad & used various chalks to highlight the images & chalked around the sides.

Lots to Do Challenge

These are my designs for the Lots To Do challange.
The top one is a atc. I used Pine needles, shabby shutters & peeled paint distress inks to create the background colour.
I then found some papers which had some tress & acorns in a postage stamp style on, & used 3d foam to raise them up a bit. I then printed out the saying & used the same inks again.
The next one is the gothic arch. Again, using the same inks for the background, I used a CI stamp & pine needles ink, stamped & cut out. I then used walnut gold glimmer mist on top. The leaves I hand drew, used the same inks to colour wash them & hand drew the veins in brown ink.

2x2 Mountboard Swap

These 2x2 mountboards are for a swap hosted on Lots To Do Forum.
I used CI baking papers to cover them all, then various CI images & plastic flowers, which are held together by a brad, which then can be moved about to create a 3d effect.
But they look better in the flesh.

Atc, tag & fat page

These are for my swap that I am hosting on lots to do forum. The theme is saying/proverb & I naturally had to have Carpe Diem, all who know me will know why!!

I sturggled to find a image that would suit this saying, as there really is no image for it, so I kept it very simple.

I choose my favorite distress inks, & inked all 3 up, then used 2 hampton art stone stamps, Love & Dream with vintage photo ink.

I intend to send the receipent's of these, the full poem of Carpe Diem, so they will have that to look back on.

Things with wings

These are for the mothly "fat page lottery" hosted on lots to do forum.
They are all started off with distress inks, then all CI stamps.
The images have been stamped using various staz on inks, then I have used a clear embossing pen to highlight the wings of the images & holographic embossing powder.
This theme was chossen by the last winner of the lottery, Hilmof (Hilda).

Lottery atc's

These are for the monthly "atc lottery" on lots to do forum.

They are all started off with distress inks.

The one on left has a stamped image with black staz on then heat embossed with clear powder.

The middle one, the top image is stamped using distress ink. Next is another image stamped on, then stamped again & on 3d foam. The dream image has again been embossed with clear powder.

The one on the right I used black staz on, and again, used clear embossing powder.

Book mark swap

This a book mark for a swap hosted on lots to do forum.

I used distress inks then stamped an image with staz on, then used clear embossing powder. I added the faith & believe embellishment's with 3d foam, then lightly sanded them down to give a distressed look. And finally added fibres.

Altered Jigsaws

From this..........

To these!
All were done using distress inks & stamped images then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

My clip board

I firstly used gesso, then sanded down. Used various distress inks on both sides then stamped an image with black staz on the finished off with ribbon. Added chipboard letters which were embossed with clear embossing powder.

Stampbord Part 2

Stampbord

This is the first time I have used stampbord, so wasn't to sure how it would turn out.
I firstly used distress inks, trying to blend them in, then didn't like that, so used a fine grade sandpaper & sanded down. Then I just tapped various distress inks on top, spritzed with water, dabbed dry which I then liked!
Then I used black stazon ink with a stamped image & finally used my cropadile to punch a hole in the top.
I will send this off for the charity auction on Lots To Do forum.

Altered Clip Board.

I loved doing this tonight!
I used alcohol inks on the metal clip, then distress inks on the board. But I had a "happy" mistake while inking up, I spilt a drop of alcohol ink onto the board, then thought to myself, "Urm, I like that mistake, what will it look like with lots of drops on?" and there you go!
I used distress ink on a stamp, & chipboard letters for "notes" with holographic embossing powder.
I hope to send this off for the charity auction on Lots To Do forum.

Distressed Tags

These are my tags for a swap hosted on Lots To Do forum.

The one on the left I used distress inks with a stamped image, Laugh a lot, & another image, both stamped with black staz on, then heat embossed with holographic powder.

The middle one, again using distress inks with a stamped image, this time with versamark ink pad, then used distress powder in aged mahogany.

The one on the right, distress inks with black staz on, then versamark ink pad, with clear embossing powder.

Hope they will be ok!

This is the first one done!

With this box, I painted with ivory acrylic paint, then used distress inks on top. Then I stamped
an image on the lid, then stamped up the other images onto card, mat & layered them all, then attached with 3D foam, then covered with walnut gold glimmer mist.
It looks much better in the flesh trust me!
Might be an item for the charity acution on lots to do?
