Fabric
Ju over on All Things Crafty Forum has challenged us to use fabric this month! Well, anyone who knows me will know I don't so sewing OF ANY KIND! But thankfully my good old matey Connie came to my rescue with some fabric! I covered a notebook with fabric, added the picture mounted on chipboard & inked the edges!
Hope it will come in useful to it's new owner!
Vintage
Alison was last months winner on the All Things Crafty raffle & she has chosen this months theme as "vintage", so here are 2 little boxes I have altered. Hope the winner likes them!

Altered wooden boxes
Been messing about in my craft room these last few nights & have altered these boxes, given to me by my good friend Connie
The big one, I gave it a coat of Gesso, then stamped my images, used various DI, then Rock candy. The hinges had rust AI added to them.
The smaller one didn't have gesso, but again, stamped images, DI, rock candy & AI.
Altered Pen Pot
This is my take of a tutorial by Deanne, but I'm really not sure about it! I think I might be having another go soon!
You can find it here

Distressed Note pad
From this

Front Cover

Back Cover

I have altered & Distressed this cheap black notepad for the lots to do challenge, which this week is distressed.
I used Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Walnut Stain, Brushed Corduroy, Vintage Photo inks, Gold dabber, Clear rock candy, Grunge paper & grunge elements.
Thought I might as well put his TSV to good use!
But I did drop the wet notebook on my lap, so I hope rock candy comes off in the wash!

Altered Mirror
Please excuse the naff photo!
I have seen a few altered mirrors on friends blogs, so thought I'd have a go myself.
This mirror we inherited when we moved in, so spent no pennies on it!
2 coats of black gesso, 1" stampbord, inked with various distress inks, then lots of different stamps used, then I used crackle glaze & glossy accents on all of them.
Thanks for looking.

Word Challenge
The challenge over on Lots to do Challenge blog is to use a word. Sorry the word is not very exciting! I used an old mint tin. I found some die cut chip board letters which I stuck onto the lid. Then covered the whole tin in self adhesive metal, which I have never used before, so it's a bit rough round the edges. I then used alcohol inks to decorate the tin, I finished using a gold leaf pen to highlight the letters better.
Thanks for looking.

Canvas
Nearly forgot how to do this again!
I have to thank Hilda for giving me the inspiration to do this with her altered canvas on her blog, so thank you Hilda.
Anyway, I altered a canvas yesterday. I started off by putting a thick layer of Windsor & newton Mineral texture gel all over, including sides. After it had dried, I then glued cut up pieces of newspaper. With the remaining mod podge, I added 1 drop of vintage photo distress reinker (waste not, want not!) to give an aged look. After that had dried, I then added my frames which also had the mineral gel & the lighter ones had sand texture gel on them, with CI images behind. (thought I had some larger frames, but can't find them!!) The final touch was stamped images on tissue paper & glued on.
The picture does not look great, but hay ho, I'm pleased with it, considering I have not crafted in an age!
Watch this space for am altered mirror I am working on!
Thanks for looking!

Paper Doll

Sue from www.paperparadise.co.uk very kindly donated some dolls via Sam for us to alter, so here is mine.I used various handmade papers to decorate the dress, then layered them on top of each other, then used gold ribbon & star jems to decorate. On the neck I used acrylic dabbers. I then used an old bottle top with an image in it, then used glossy accents & finally a crown from grungebord with gold acrylic paint.I hope I have done my doll proud!
