Tag & Atc swaps

Over on All things crafty Andrea is hosting 2 swaps, one being 3 colour atc's, green, red & blue & the other being 3 tags with a "ladies only" theme.
These are my very quick efforts tonight!
All 3 atc's have different embossing on them, then T!m's stamp, with the the same colour highlighted on some letters then glossy on top.
The tags are brayer backgrounds, swirl stamp then vintage ladies rub on's.
Hope they are ok!

Just for Fun

Well well folks! I have FINALLY done some crafting! YAY! I went to my local monthly craft group today with lots of things to get on with & one of them was to join in with a new challenge blog called Just For Fun where they have a monthly theme & a weekly theme. This month it is "wings" and this week it is "heartfelt wings". So here is my take on this theme. I have made a tag using distress inks & also using my new toy, the elite slice!
Anyhow, hope it is ok. And it's great to be back crafting again!

Tag swap

Hilda is hosting a tag swap over on Lots to do forum. No theme this time other than use a stamped image. All started off with distress inks, spritzed with water, then I used a new foam stamp from QVC.

Feb/March recipe swap

These are my entries for the recipe swap, hosted by Ang. We had to use, floral, green, blue or yellow, or all three, sparkle & texture. I used all 3 colours, perfect pearls on the flower head, & stone gems for texture.

Tag & bookmark swap

These are for a swap I am hosting on on LTD.

The theme is to use something new you have bought for your craft stash (even though we are in a credit crunch, I am sure we all find a few £'s to spend!!!)

My new stash is cuttlebug embossing folders, acrylic dabbers, & CI stamps.

Week 24 Challenge piece

Over on the Lots to do challenge blog, Steph has chosen this weeks theme as "your name". I made it so long ago, that I have forgotten what I did! I know it's a tag, with a meaning of my name, which is officially Margaret, which I hate by the way, but I couldn't find the meaning of Mags! I think I used acrylic dabbers for the background!

Christmas in july!

These are for a swap hosted on Lots to do, for the christmas in july swap!!
All are covered using various backing papers I had & all are vintage, then on the skinny I have stamped a CI christmas stamp. All have a gold outline using rangers gold pen.

Tag swap

These are my tags for a swap hosted on Lots to do forum.

We had to make 3 tags, 1 large, 1 medium & 1 small & doing 1 distressed, 1 stamping as main image & 1 free choice.

My large tag is stamping as main image, the medium can either being distressed or free choice, as is the small one.

I shall let the host decide which she thinks is best! (Sorry Sam!)

Week 4 Challenge

This weeks challenge on the lots to do challenge blog has been set by yours truly !

This is my tag. I layed 3 different size tags on top of each other & sprayed with glimmer mists, which left the outlines. I then used the same stamp on each tag & layered them up using brads & fibres. I'm really pleased with the way it has turned out & I can display it all sorts of different ways.

I hope you will join in with this weeks challenge.

Atc, tag & fat page

These are for my swap that I am hosting on lots to do forum. The theme is saying/proverb & I naturally had to have Carpe Diem, all who know me will know why!!

I sturggled to find a image that would suit this saying, as there really is no image for it, so I kept it very simple.

I choose my favorite distress inks, & inked all 3 up, then used 2 hampton art stone stamps, Love & Dream with vintage photo ink.

I intend to send the receipent's of these, the full poem of Carpe Diem, so they will have that to look back on.

This tag was inspired by a wonderfull sunset the other night. I used 3 distress inks, then stamped image with black staz on.

Distressed Tags

These are my tags for a swap hosted on Lots To Do forum.

The one on the left I used distress inks with a stamped image, Laugh a lot, & another image, both stamped with black staz on, then heat embossed with holographic powder.

The middle one, again using distress inks with a stamped image, this time with versamark ink pad, then used distress powder in aged mahogany.

The one on the right, distress inks with black staz on, then versamark ink pad, with clear embossing powder.
