Quoations

It is Hilda's choice of theme this week over on the lots to do blog challenge, & her theme is "quotations". I chose to do an arch, & used one of my Tim Holtz stamps.
The first one I had made, I done some more stamping around it, but it took away the main focus, so I threw that in the bin & just focused on the main image.
As they say, "less is more" & it applied in this case.

Stone

This is my effort for the stone challenge theme on lots to do this week.
I covered the arch in stone coloured inks then used my 4 stone stamps, again, in stone like colours, I then used embossing powder to create texture to them.

Andrea is hosting an arch swap on Lots to do & these are mine. Backgrounds are all dabbers & inks with the swirl stamp in co ordinating colours with CI images 3d onto them.

Bandana Technique

Over on Sam & Hilda's technique blog, they have shown a new one, & this is my effort!
Must get some brighter inks though!

Pink Gothic Arch

Sue is the guest designer over on the Gothic arch challenge blog & her theme is "pretty in pink"
Now, the scan shoes my arch as purple, not the link that it is in real life, but it is pink!
The background has been created with the shaving foam technique & I used Tim's fragments over the stamped flower & used a flourish stamp in the corner. The main image is another of Tim's.
Hope it fits in with this week theme!

Week 21 Challenge

This is my piece for this weeks challenge (sorry I'm late). I chose to do an arch with some oriental backing papers & I used a black kimono peel off again onto some backing paper & 3d on.
I then popped some oriental epoxy stickers on to embellish it. I don't have a huge amount of oriental stock, so I was a bit limited to what I could make.

Week 14 Challenge work

These are my pieces for this weeks challenge & the theme was chosen by Andrea which is "children"
The fat page was inked up with distress inks, then 2 of Tim's stamps were used & the ranger gold pen around the edges.
The arch had acrylic dabbers used as the base, then again, another of Tim's stamps with distress inks. As I made these in advance, I forgotten what I have used! I think I then used clear embossing powder over the stamped image. And once again, the rangers gold pen around the edge.

Brights swap

These are for a swap hosted on Lots to do forum.

We had to do 4 pieces using "bright" colours & a stamped image.

I choose to do a skinny, moo, arch & atc

All have started off with dabbers from the "brights" range of colours then all stamped with the same Tim Holtz stamp. Some of the images have been embossed with Ranger clear powder.

Gothic arch, skinny & moo swap

These are my entries for a swap hosted on Lots To Do forum.

The arch has to be black & white, the skinny, green & yellow & the moo, orange & brown colour themes.

I have just bought a new printer with a scanner, & this is my first attempt at scanning, but I am sure I'll get the hang of it one day!

Purple Gothic Archs

These are for a swap on Lotstodo Forum, the theme being "purple". I have to say I did struggle to find things purple in my collection, I thought I had lots of purple stuff, but not as much as I thought!

Things with wings

On this arch, I used peel offs, then used various chalks over them & removed the peel offs to leave the stencil outline. Finally I spritzed with walnut gold glimmer mist.
On this, I used the same stamp with holographic embossing powder, then cut out the butterflys from CI papers, curled the wings & 3d foamed them.

With this arch, I used versamark ink pad & used various chalks to highlight the images & chalked around the sides.
