Week 22 Challenge

This weeks challenge has been set by Andrea & she has chosen to Recycle it!I used an old butter tub for this. I painted it with acrylic paints, then I had planned to stamp onto it, but this didn't work, so I had to rethink, so I thought she could use it as a penny saving jar for craft goodies, so added peel offs onto it. It does look abit dull & boring, for which I am sorry, but the master plan went wrong.

4x4 & 1x1 swap

Sam over on Lots to do is hosting a fat page swap, but we have to include an inchies on them.So I used acrylic dabbers for my background, then stamped the flowers in black, then painted them in with some new paints I have, & then added the inchie.

Technique swap

Andrea over on Lots to do is hosting a technique swap.I choose to do 3 the same as I was playing with shaving foam!

Memory glass

I had a play about with memory glass this evening & came up with these. The square one is finished with ranger tape & the other is with a frame.Need to play about with it a bit more as I'm sure there is more to these.

Thrinchie Swap

These are my entries for a thrinchie swap over on lots to do forum. I made the backgrounds with the shaving foam technique & then mounted my ci images onto gold mirri card & then 3d them.

Week 21 Challenge

This is my piece for this weeks challenge (sorry I'm late). I chose to do an arch with some oriental backing papers & I used a black kimono peel off again onto some backing paper & 3d on.
I then popped some oriental epoxy stickers on to embellish it. I don't have a huge amount of oriental stock, so I was a bit limited to what I could make.

Week 20 Challenge piece

This is my piece for this weeks challenge, which has been set by our guest designer Sam, this got the brain working overtime!

I know Sam's favorite colour is green, so I used 2 different colours of acrylic dabbers for the background
I then found the eye image, used 2 black square frames which were stuck onto acetate, then mounted over the top of them,
I finally added some gold thread to create the effect of a pair of glasses.

BUT, can you spot the stupid mistake I have made??
I did correct it though before sending to Sam, but forgot to scan it in again!

JKL skinnys

These were done in a rush today as, surprise surprise I am last again! The jack in the box I have placed some folded up paper behind him so he does spring out from the paper! The rest were images just mounted onto the skinnys.
I shall do better for the next lot I promise!

Lottery atc's

These are my atc's for the entry into Augusts atc lottery over on lots to do forum.
The backgrounds is left over acrylic paint then various images stamped onto them & all have some form of embossing on them.

Secret gift swap

This was my gift for Angie for the secret swap on lots to do.
It is a decoupaged Beatrix Potter image mounted onto stampbord with acrylic paints background.

Name Swap

This is my present for the name swap happening on lots to do forum.
I have made Angie a fat book note book. I was going to BIA at first, then decided against it, so she can add new pages if she would like to.
I hope Angie will like it & use it.

For the background I have used 2 different colours of acrylic dabbers then the image stamped & a small piece if ribbon to the corner.

Week 19 Challenge

These are my desings for this weeks challenge on lots to do, the theme is freinds.
I choose to do a skinny & atc.

Paper Doll

Sue from www.paperparadise.co.uk very kindly donated some dolls via Sam for us to alter, so here is mine.I used various handmade papers to decorate the dress, then layered them on top of each other, then used gold ribbon & star jems to decorate. On the neck I used acrylic dabbers. I then used an old bottle top with an image in it, then used glossy accents & finally a crown from grungebord with gold acrylic paint.I hope I have done my doll proud!

ABC Challenge- Decoupage

This is my entry for this weeks challenge on the ABC challenge blog.
I made this along time ago to give to my friend.
I used acrylic dabber paints as the background, then mounted my decoupaged image onto stampbord & attached a magnet on the back.

Week 18 challenge piece

B ia for Baby

This is my entry for the Abc challenge, as B is for Baby.
I choose to do some Iris folding, & added 2 little blue shoes & peel offs.
I think it needs something else to "jazz" it up a bit, but still working on it.

Week 17 challenge

This is my work for this weeks challenge.
I used acrylic paint as my background onto oval stampbord, then added my male & female images.

Notebook gifts

These are 2 little notebooks I have personalised for the 2 ladies who run the craft group I go to. It is the last tomorrow, so thought it would be a nice way to say thanks for running them.

New camera pictures

I bought a new camera & have been messing about with it the last couple of days, so here are a few pictures I have taken with it!
There is a blog mode on there, but haven't worked out how it works yet!!!!!!!

Red skinnys

These are my skinnys for a swap on Lots to do forum. I used red acrylic paint for my backgrounds then various Tim Holtz stamps. All have been blinged up with red stones!

Black & White 9x9

This is my effort for the 9x9 atc swap happening on Lots to do forum

The theme is black & white. Very simple method, stamped various images on a piece of card then cut into strips 1cm wide & stuck down, then the whole piece was cut into 9 atc's!

Week 16 Challenge

This weeks theme has been chossen by me & I decided on travel,as this can cover a HUGE amount, such as, ways to travel, holidays, places you would like to visit etc etc.

I made 2 skinnys, both had distress inks as backgrounds, then a CI travel stamp & various CI images & some are 3d. I choose Rome & Paris.

Hope you can get over to the challenge blog & give it a go, as there is some lovley candy to give away this week!

Christmas in july!

These are for a swap hosted on Lots to do, for the christmas in july swap!!
All are covered using various backing papers I had & all are vintage, then on the skinny I have stamped a CI christmas stamp. All have a gold outline using rangers gold pen.

A is for Animals

Ok, so I confess, this really is cheating!

I made these for another swap I am in, but I had a thought that they would go really well for this challenge!

They are all skinnys & all include animals!

So therefore, I am entering these into the ABC challenge blog!

Week 15 Challenge

This is my work for this weeks theme, which has been set by Ang as she loves butterflys.
I made a skinny using crafty individuals paper & images.

Beer Mat Swap

These are my beer mats for a swap I am hosting on Lots to do forum.
The theme is "Tim Holtz", which has been left open, ie, stamps of his, papers of his, his style etc etc.
I have used various mediums to create these, 2 dominos which I have used alcolhol inks on, his backing papers I have used, crackle paint & a stamp of his.

Week 14 Challenge work

These are my pieces for this weeks challenge & the theme was chosen by Andrea which is "children"
The fat page was inked up with distress inks, then 2 of Tim's stamps were used & the ranger gold pen around the edges.
The arch had acrylic dabbers used as the base, then again, another of Tim's stamps with distress inks. As I made these in advance, I forgotten what I have used! I think I then used clear embossing powder over the stamped image. And once again, the rangers gold pen around the edge.

D E F Skinnys

ABC Skinnys

These are my skinnys for the start of the alphabet swap being hosted on Lots To Do Forum.
I stamped a b c onto card as a background & used various images, A- Apple, B- Bumble Bees & C- Cats.
I then used glitter glue to colour in the letters & mounted them on 3D foam to give a bit of hight.

Distressed Moos

These are my moos for a swap being hosted on Lots to Do Forum.
I inked them all up then used various stamps for the background.
I then played about with Grunge board & acrylic dabbers.

Words Challenge

This is my work for the words challenge this week.
I have to be really honest here, I had an idea in my head, but you know what it's like,I got carried with inking, stamping etc etc, that it turned out nothing like my idea in my head!
But I hope Hilda likes it!
